As a Business Process Analyst Senior, you will elicit, analyze, communicate and validate business/user requirements for processes and policies for our Transfer Agent clients. You will also translate business needs/end-user requirements into functional specifications that describe what the system, process or product/service must do to fulfill the end-user/business requirements.Our team also partners with Technology and other Business functions to ensure critical issues are prioritized and resolved in a timely manner to minimize client impact.What You Will Be Doing• Responsible for most complex business and systems process analysis, design and simulation. Diagrams and evaluates existing processes. Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams. Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts• Actively engaging with clients/product owner to gather business requirements• Assist with the product backlog and work with the Product Owner to implement the high priority items• Establish and validate new funds and fund updates on the Transfer Agent Systems• Assist with the daily/monthly client and dealer Output processes and functions• Lead/provide support for Policy and Procedures and Communication roll outs and updates• Conduct requirement gathering workshops, brain-storming sessions, functional and non-functional requirement analysis sessions• Assist with communication between business units & technology on issues, enhancements, and implementation• Assist in the identification, isolation, resolution and communication of problems within the production environment• Provide Business support by analyzing production issues to assist in determining business impact and prioritization for resolution• Escalate critical production issues, system outages etc. to management and provide ongoing status updates• Recommend any available workaround solutions to business partners to avoid any transaction processing or service delays• Act as initial point of contact for business user support queries, respond to support queries where possible, or escalating queries within the team• Plans and designs business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency• Utilizes systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner• Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics and identifies improvement opportunities• May train internal employees on changes to business practices, processes or procedures• May coordinate activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and client or vendor/subcontractor organizations as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule• May assign and monitor progress of project team, providing analytical support and direction• May serve as a liaison between internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations to ensure all project targets and requiremenEducation Desired ~Bachelor's DegreeTravel Percentage ~15 - 25%Job DescriptionAt FIS, our technology and our people are moving forward. This ecosystem spans core account processing, sales and service banker channels, data and analytics platform, open banking integration tools, and integration with an expansive array of other FIS solutions and fintech partners. This role will engage with stakeholders across all FIS functions and bring them together to deliver on exciting outcomes for our clients. The client base is growing as well as our capital investment by FIS. The Business Line team comprises an experienced and talented group who have held a diverse range of roles in both within and outside of FIS. They are widely respected across the company as well as with our client base. The team is supported by a very strong collection of internal stakeholders – spanning Product, TechDev, Sales, Account Management, Client Relations, Product Marketing, and many more partners.What You Will Be Doing~• In this role you will be responsible for leading a diverse set of initiatives while influencing and directing others to deliver on our business line objectives (financial success, client excellence, operational improvements, and more). Some examples of these responsibilities include~• Champions strategic priorities across FIS stakeholders leveraging deep knowledge of IBS products and broader ecosystem, understanding of market trends/dynamics, and competitive positioning• Participates in strategic client and prospect briefings as well as other client forums (regional user groups, national client advisory boards) and FIS client conferences representing the IBS business• Collaborates closely with Product to drive capital planning, prioritize development execution, and launch new product offerings with a focus on driving long-term business growth• Cultivates new 3rd party partnerships to address market needs, fill product line gaps, or address sunsetting products while finding opportunities to accelerate business growth• Identifies and helps execute on platform/product consolidation and core/digital migration initiatives• Participates in and approves creation of product launch strategies and execution plans for new products and ensure they align with Business Line strategic growth plans and market needs• Engages with industry analysts and consultants to evangelize our business/market strategy and integrated roadmap• Drive sales campaigns for new and existing products in order to deliver on our financial goalsWhat You Will Need~• Minimally, 7-10 years of business, product, or related management experience• Financial services or banking industry experience• Strong written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills required• Experience and comfort with interacting and presenting directly with clients• Management and/or leadership experience; as well as experience working in a matrixed organizational structure• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, information technology or related field/discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experienceA career at FIS is more than just a job. The pay range for this full-time position is $145,900.00 - $245,120.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
