We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Fulfillment and Logistics to lead our end-to-end fulfillment operations, inventory management, and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships. This pivotal role is integral to supporting our high-volume direct-to-consumer (D2C) business and expanding retail operations. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in fulfillment operations, particularly in retail and e-commerce environments, with a strong preference for experience in the CPG or health and wellness sectors. Fulfillment Operations:
Manage day-to-day operations of order fulfillment, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast order volumes and align fulfillment capacity accordingly.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and minimize order errors.
Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Management:
Serve as the primary liaison with 3PL partners, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Monitor KPIs (e.g., shipping accuracy, order cycle time, on-time delivery) and address any performance issues promptly.
Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with fulfillment and shipping vendors.
Retail Logistics:
Set up and oversee processes for wholesale channel logistics including bulk order coordination, palletization, and compliance with retailer requirements for delivery windows and packaging standards.
Serve as the primary logistics liaison for retail partners, ensuring accurate inventory allocation, on-time shipments, and alignment with store-level replenishment schedules.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and reconciliation across fulfillment locations.
Work cross-functionally with the operations team to ensure optimal inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
Implement systems to monitor product quality and shelf life, particularly for supplements requiring temperature or time-sensitive handling.
Operational Strategy:
Develop and implement fulfillment strategies to support company growth, seasonal demand, and new product launches.
Leverage technology and automation to improve scalability and efficiency.
Customer Experience:
Partner with the customer support team to address fulfillment-related issues and drive customer satisfaction.
Proactively resolve any shipping delays, returns, or product damage claims.
Retail and eCommerce Experience: Proven track record in retail and eCommerce operations (preferably for a CPG company), with a focus on fulfillment and logistics.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Capable of coaching others and providing feedback.
Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking.
Efficient knowledge of customer service tech platforms and Shopify systems.
A high level of empathy for the customer and curiosity about their experience with us.
Working knowledge and experience with various CRM and/or automation platforms.
This position is a hybrid role in-person out of Park City, Utah headquarters.
