QA Manual Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Manual Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications through careful testing, identifying issues, and collaborating with developers to resolve them. This role requires strong analytical skills and a passion for improving user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing for various software applications.
• Develop, document, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs, issues, and defects.
• Execute manual test cases and analyze results to ensure software stability and usability.
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Track and report testing progress, including defect status and testing metrics.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on requirements, design, and potential issues.
• Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards before deployment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
