Inventory AssociateRole Overview:The Sample Fulfillment Center's inventory of raw materials and sample cuts for eCommerce customer orders and the FDX program fulfillment to stores is under the purview of the Inventory Associate (ICC). The ICC must maintain the accuracy and integrity of the inventory at all times.The Inventory Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and monitoring stock levels, ensuring that inventory is properly organized, and accurately tracking items:• Follow established procedures to conduct regular inventory audits and keep comprehensive documentation of cycle count activities.• Conduct a thorough investigation of discrepancies related to inventory and take necessary action to rectify them in the inventory system.• Notify the Inventory Control Supervisor of any discrepancies noted during the scheduled CCYL.• Increase staff training: Ensure that all employees are trained in security measures and shrink prevention techniques. This should include recognizing warning signs of theft or fraud and the proper handling of merchandise.• Conduct a daily audit of the NIR as per the standard operating procedures (SOP) for inventory control.• The daily matching of the Allocated Sales Report (ASR).• To make sure that the correct inventory disposition was executed as per the system, go through the weekly SILVON generated reports that you receive from the Inventory Control Supervisor for the inventory codes such as EX, AD, WO, VA, US & DM. Look out for and fix any discrepancies found in the report and report it back to the Inventory Control Supervisor for further review. Lastly, properly archive the reports in the cycle count drawer on a monthly basis.• Perform a weekly evaluation of reports for SILVON with less than 50 entries and Top 150 OH (SILVON) to identify and manage any exceptions.• Conduct thorough inspections on all trucks that enter or exit the premises and carefully examine all shipping and receiving documents to ensure their precision.• Notify the Inventory Control Supervisor immediately about any inconsistencies observed in the labeling or SKU problems encountered with goods.• Process the receipt of incoming purchase orders and transfers within the system.• Help the Inventory Control Supervisor manage the physical inventory count.To become an Inventory Coordinator, certain minimum eligibility requirements must be met:• It is favourable for candidates to have gained 1 to 3 years of experience in inventory operations within a warehouse setting.• Preferably, familiarity with RF scanning and data capture equipment technology is necessary for warehouse management systems.• An advantage in the field of business analysis is having relevant work history.• A strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.• Proficiency in juggling multiple tasks, delivering work within specified timeframes, and excelling in a rapid-paced workplace.• The ability to deliver superior customer service and perform effectively under stressful conditions is a valuable attribute.Physical/Sensory Requirements:• The capacity to frequently apply a force ranging from 10 to 50 pounds is necessary for lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving objects.• The capability to apply consistent force of 10 pounds to move, lift, transport, or push objects.• The worker is frequently expected to utilize their digits and hands to touch or manipulate objects.• The worker may need to assume a standing position, ambulate, utilize their arms and hands to reach for objects, ascend or stabilize themselves, and assume a bent posture by stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.Why join us?• Every level of our organization provides added incentives for exceptional performance.
