As Legal Counsel (m/f/d) you will support the Business Unit Germany and all respective Fluence functions in managing and mastering their legal challenges, in particular on large-scale projects.

In other words, you will be a lawyer in a broad and customer-facing role and all of us are responsible for great customer service.

The job location for this role is flexible.

Your responsibilities:

-  Supporting on complex tender procedures

-  Drafting, interpreting and negotiating a large variety of contracts, in particular supply contracts, EPC contracts, service contracts and other commercial contracts

-  Supporting the execution teams and claim managers on potential claims and disputes

-  Working on corporate initiatives with legal support

Your skills & qualifications:

-  Law studies (Bachelor, Master or State Examination, at least First State Exam)

-  Generalist background with at least 5 years of experiencing drafting, interpreting and negotiating contracts in a civil law country

-  Experience in industrial equipment, construction or utility projects - experience in the renewable energy or energy storage sector and/or in public procurement processes is very welcomed

- Excellent judgment, both in business and interpersonal matters

- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility and a highly self-motivated work style

- Impeccable ethics and a commitment to compliance and safety

- Business fluency in English and German
