You will have the opportunity to develop Fluxergy’s current software, enhancing its capability, improving security features and the ability to integrate with current firmware.Specifically, you can be expected to complete the following tasks:Team culture:- Self Driven- Proactive- Great communicator- Contribute to a productive team cultureWhat You Will Do- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations for our medical device platform, ensuring compliance with relevant medical device regulations and standards.- Lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement software requirements.- Architect and optimize database systems to store and manage critical medical data securely and efficiently.- Implement robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions using modern software development best practices and technologies.- Participate in and lead code and design reviews, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning.- Collaborate with front-end development teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services and APIs.- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance as needed.- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in medical device software development."What You'll Need to Have- 4+ years of experience in Backend Engineering;- 3+ years working with Databases and API design and implementation- Proficiency in multiple server-side programming languages and frameworks. (Python, Javascript, Golang, etc.)- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and server-side development.- Strong experience with designing and implementing scalable and high-performance systems.- Proficiency with databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.- Proficiency with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.- Working knowledge of data security and privacy standards such as HIPAA and GDPR.- Working knowledge of distributed systems and data storage technologies, such as Apache Kafka, Cassandra, or Redis.- Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and provide guidance to team members.- Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git- Proficiency with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.- Proficient with Linux, Windows, and Microsoft Office.
