The Opportunity:
The Sales Leader, Regional Parts Service & Vehicles Sales will be responsible for working with our Ford Dealers to achieve and grow sales, service performance and to accelerate the brand differentiating retail customer experiences. This role will lead the Southern California region and will primarily be based in Los Angeles, CA.
What you'll be able to do...
This person will focus on:
Strategy and Implementation
- Develop and execute regional business plan (annually and quarterly) that's tied to the national go-to-market strategy
- Ensure key Market Area, Region, and General Office programs and initiatives are effectively communicated and implemented
- Employee Development and Market Area/Regional Strategy Development
- Conduct Individual Development Plan meeting with direct reports and ensure implementation
- Lead personnel processes, coach and counsel reporting personnel and administer performance reviews
- Review and approve TERs and act as subject matter expert for reporting personnel regarding corporate policy
- Establish and maintain relationships to enable quick response to business opportunities and resolution of conflicts - Regional Management, Dealer Principals, FAD Account Principals, key FCSD Marketing, Sales and Field Operations Personnel in the General Office, Parts Supply & Logistics Management, and Technical Support Operations.
Sales Operations
- Deliver Ford monthly regional sales, share, and focus audience performance objectives
- Collaborate with the inventory manager to reframe inventory that delivers faster turn rates and sustainable lower inventory levels
- Develop quarterly/monthly regional marketing plan utilizing tactical C&I funds
- Develop and execute effective channel management strategies to meet Regional sales objectives
Parts and Service Performance
- Strategize and implement increased service capacity initiatives across the dealer network
- Increase Technician count and support tech recruiting
- Support service performance management by reviewing dealership analyses and attending reviews when a higher level of management is needed
- Parts revenue and profitability, including Ford, Motorcraft and Omnicraft
- Market representation for service capacity actions and network optimization
- Support fleet partners with service and part solutions
- Identify opportunities to accelerate Ford, Motorcraft and Omnicraft sales through retail and fleet channels
- Ensure Ford dealers have the resources to recruit, train and retain qualified technicians
Market Representation/ Distribution
- Optimize the Dealer network through actions to improve
- Sales & Registration Expectancy
- Service Capacity & Retention

- Achieve facility actions and increase total diversity count
- Develop robust parts market representation strategies to serve our customers where they live and work
- Lead development and implementation of annual Regional Business Plan process which details strategic and tactical actions and establishes accountability for performance
Lead the development of a Best in Class Customer Experience:
- Deliver key retail experience goals - mobile service, pick up & delivery, online service reservations, vehicle health management, eCommerce and owner loyalty
- Connect Activations (Modem) - goal toward 100% connected vehicles
- Leverage OneCX platform to identify dealer process opportunities for improving their customer experiences
Marketing
- Lead monthly FDAF meetings, tier II strategy, and annual return to council meetings
- Participate in various dealer meetings: Ready 4 Retail, Dealer Launch Meetings, Grass Roots, etc.
- Support the execution of Tier I/II/III strategy and alignment
- Support the execution of Digital initiatives (internet leads, close rates and digital marketing)
Travel Requirements: 75% of week. May need to travel 100+ miles within region. Hotel stays may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of Dealership Contact experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail Marketing C&I experience preferred
- 5+ years experience in marketing, sales, service and customer experience
- Extensive Dealer contact and operations experience
- Multiple years of knowledge and understanding of dealership operations, market representation
- Management level and supervisory experience
- Excellent Dealer relations and communication skills
