PLM Data Integration Specialist

We’re seeking a PLM Integration Specialist to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to the PLM Solutions Architect. The Digital Engineering Data Integration Specialist, is responsible for managing and integrating data across digital engineering tools, platforms, and systems to ensure seamless workflow and data accuracy throughout the product development lifecycle.  

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from out of our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwick. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What you’ll do:

  • Integrate various digital engineering tools (CAD, PLM, CAE, CAM, etc.) and ensure seamless data flow between systems. 
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to automate data transfer between systems and partners. 
  • Manage and validate data inputs and outputs to ensure consistency and accuracy throughout the product lifecycle. 
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure all departments have access to the right data at the right time. 
  • Assist teams in defining and implementing data standards and best practices across tools and platforms. 
  • Configure and maintain digital engineering tools and platforms to meet the specific needs of the organization. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system integration issues, ensuring continuous access to accurate engineering data. 
  • Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve data exchange and system performance. 
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize the integration of digital engineering tools. 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for data integration processes, workflows, and system configurations. 
  • Provide regular reports to management regarding system performance, integration status, and data quality metrics.

Who you are:

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in digital engineering, data integration, or a related field. 
  • Experience with engineering software platforms (CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM). 
  • Familiarity with data integration tools, APIs, and ETL processes. 
  • Proficiency in data integration technologies (such as XML, JSON, RESTful APIs). 
  • Knowledge of data modelling and database management. 
  • Strong understanding of engineering workflows and systems. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems (e.g. 3DExperience, Teamcenter, Windchill). 
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and data analytics tools. 
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and digital twins. 

Work Environment: 

  • This role may require collaboration with both in-office and remote teams. 
  • Occasional travel may be required for on-site support and project implementation.
