Software Engineer- Intern (IBM i)

Fortra, a cybersecurity company, is seeking a proactive software engineering intern to expand automation coverage for a high-speed network file transfer product using Java, JUnit, and Selenium.

Skills

Proficiency in Java
Basic networking knowledge
Experience with Java, Windows, MacOS, Linux/UNIX

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation code using Java, JUnit, and Selenium.
Test and oversee execution of automation code on multiple operating systems and environments.
Troubleshoot software and environmental failures using coding and networking knowledge.
Participate in Agile development lifecycle and code reviews.
Learn and adapt to new technologies as required.

Education

Enrolled full-time in an accredited university co-op program
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
