Job Description

In this role you will lead the Lean and CI transformation at the Larson Brookings site. The Continuous Improvement Manager will focus improvements on internal processes as well as drive improvements through all facets of the Operation. Project focus will include such things as Cost Reductions, Long-Term Planning, and Lean Process Development & Deployment.

This position is essential in developing a culture of Continuous Improvement at the Larson Brookings site. This role will work with the entire Operations Team to review, recommend, and implement projects that will drive Continuous Improvement and move the site to a world class status.

Your Role:

  • Develop Continuous Improvement strategy and plan and execute tactical projects and workshops.
  • Lead and manage daily process & quality improvement, Six Sigma, and Lean activities.
  • Align Continuous Improvement actions with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Act as an agent for cultural change and challenge the status quo.
  • Successfully implement a culture of Continuous Improvement through associate development, involvement, mentoring, and training.
  • Provide support to Operations initiatives.
  • Track and communicate Continuous Improvement metrics.
  • Create, Develop, Guide, and Direct Continuous Improvement teams.
  • Plan and lead Kaizen events

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ Experience in a Manufacturing or Supply Chain environment
  • LEAN Manufacturing and Project Management experience
  • Ability to solve complex problems using structured problem-solving methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Business Management or Engineering)
  • Experience implementing lean initiatives and cost reduction programs.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt experience, certification preferred.

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $81,000 - $124,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.  In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
