Controls Technician-3rd shift

Job Description

YOUR ROLE:  The Controls Technician must act as a safety champion in the Butler Manufacturing Operations and drive safety improvements daily through the following actions:

  • Participate in incident investigations and resolutions
  • Develop process improvements with a “safety first” attitude
  • Immediately address any potential safety issues with the appropriate personnel
  • Review and evaluate ergonomic and safety concerns and risks for all activities and projects

Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:   

  •  2+ years Controls Experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics
  • Ability to navigate via PLC operation sequence, I/O information, and instrumentation feedback
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a group
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC control systems
