In this role, you will be managing a team of business development representatives in our business. Aside from managerial duties, you will also be in daily contact with leading nonprofit organizations located mainly in the United States to help these organizations as part of our sales and outreach effort to source new clients and get them up and running with our software. 

We are looking to hire someone with a strong academic background and experience in managing a team in customer service, sales, and business development roles. We are also looking for people who are interested in the nonprofit sector, are outgoing and personable, and have a desire to help organizations best leverage software to raise more money for their cause.

The ideal candidate is a fast learner and comfortable managing a team of people. Success in this role is driven by a genuine passion for making a difference and a willingness to help the BDR team succeed.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of BDRs to achieve and exceed sales targets

  • Develop and implement a BDR training program to ensure continuous skill development

  • Set clear goals and performance metrics for the BDR team and track progress

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to BDRs

  • Identify and implement strategies to optimize the BDR sales process

  • Conduct one-on-one and team meetings with your directs

  • Do a lot of data entry and data research.

  • Utilize our CRM for our outreach efforts as well as add information on new contacts.

  • Research software that is used by different companies. 

  • Clean up data that flows into our CRM

  • Find new points of contact with target clients 

Wages

  • Hourly compensation is in $USD

  • We offer a competitive salary reflecting experience and skills

  • Aside from the base salary, there will also be an additional company contribution to go towards health insurance and additional benefits that you buy on your own

  • Target 42.5 billable hours per week

  • Additionally, you accrue Life Leave which can optionally be cashed in each year adding to your earnings

  • This is a work-from-home setup. 

  • You would work during US EST Hours (Approx. 8 or 9 am to 5 or 6 pm EST)

What Makes a Strong Candidate

  • Based in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term role.

  • In-depth understanding of the business development lifecycle

  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills

  • Prior experience managing a team for multiple years

  • Prior experience researching email addresses and contacts is helpful

  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills – Reading comprehension in English is super important and ideally, you can create written emails and LinkedIn messages that would be as strong as those from our US-based team members.

  • Self-motivated and driven - Everyone at our company has always excelled academically and professionally. If you were the best student in your classes and have been the highest performer out of everyone in your internship or job, you'll fit in great!

  • Strong academic background who graduated with an outstanding General Weighted Average

  • Individuals who graduate with a major that could be a good fit including Communications, Business Ad, Marketing, or other Business degrees

Benefits

Paid vacation time

  • 20 days accrued annually

  • These paid days off each equate to 8.0 hours of billable time.

  • Expect to use 5 of the days during the Christmas – New Year’s period.

Paid sick time

  • 5 sick days off annually

Paid life leave*

  • 15 days accrued annually.

  • Once per year in December, you can cash out any accrued life leave time. Every 5 days your cash out is worth about $300.

*Life Leave allows team members to use their holidays as it’s meant to be – a break – whilst knowing they’ve got the breathing space to tap into extra leave for the planned and unplanned life moments.
