We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market efforts for our fundraising software solutions. This role bridges the gap between product development, marketing, and sales, ensuring that our offerings are positioned effectively in the market to drive awareness, engagement, and customer adoption. As the Product Marketing Manager, you will craft compelling messaging, oversee product launches, and equip our sales team with the tools they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Positioning and Messaging

  • Develop and refine product messaging that highlights the value and differentiation of our fundraising software solutions.

  • Collaborate with product management to understand the unique features and benefits of each product in our ecosystem.

  • Translate technical details into user-friendly language for marketing materials, ensuring alignment with the needs of nonprofit professionals.

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and updates, coordinating with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and marketing.

  • Define target audiences and tailor messaging to address their pain points and goals.

  • Monitor the success of launches and campaigns, adjusting strategies based on data insights.

Sales Enablement

  • Create and maintain a library of sales enablement materials, such as product decks, one-pagers, case studies, and FAQs.

  • Train the sales team on product positioning and competitive differentiation to ensure consistent messaging.

  • Develop tools and resources to help sales teams effectively communicate product value to potential customers.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.

  • Use insights to shape product positioning and promotional strategies.

  • Serve as the internal voice of the customer, ensuring that their feedback informs product marketing decisions.

Content Creation and Campaigns

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce content that highlights product benefits, such as blog posts, webinars, whitepapers, and email campaigns.

  • Manage product-specific marketing campaigns to generate demand and drive leads.

  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and speaks to the target audience.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Track the performance of product marketing efforts, analyzing metrics such as lead generation, sales conversion rates, and customer feedback.

A Typical Day in the Role

While each day may vary, here are some examples of tasks you can expect to work on in this role:

  • Meet with the product team to learn about upcoming product releases and features, discovering the use case and value add to then communicate in marketing materials

  • Draft internal key messaging for our product’s features, helping our sales and marketing team to best communicate the value of our products 

  • Create product pages and sales decks for the new modules being added to our existing system

  • Craft upsell messaging to inject into our email campaigns to demonstrate the value of utilizing workplace giving tools to our existing clients

  • Request product graphics from our graphic design team to effectively demonstrate our value-adds and features

Requirements

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in product marketing, preferably within the SaaS or nonprofit technology space.

  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and marketing communications.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for diverse audiences.

  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform marketing decisions.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of the nonprofit or fundraising sectors.

  • Experience working in a cross-functional role, collaborating with product, sales, and marketing teams.

  • Proficiency in project management tools to manage campaigns and deliverables.

Wages

  • Hourly compensation is in $USD

  • We offer a competitive salary reflecting experience and skills

  • Aside from the base salary, there will also be an additional company contribution to go towards health insurance and additional benefits that you buy on your own

  • Target 42.5 billable hours per week

  • Additionally, you accrue Life Leave which can optionally be cashed in each year adding to your earnings

  • Our hiring process is intentionally tough and time-consuming.

  • Select candidates will be invited to complete a one-way video interview and an initial screening interview.

  • Once you pass the initial screening, a number of online assessments testing your critical thinking, and English skills will be sent.

  • Select candidates will be invited to an hour-long Zoom interview with the President of the company.

Other Requirements

Location

  • This is a work-from-home setup. 

  • You would work either these shifts (to be determined):

    • during US EST Hours (Approx. 8 or 9 am to 5 or 6 pm EST)

    • Split shift (approximately 8am-1pm EST and then 9pm-1am EST)

  • Individuals who graduate with a major that could be a good fit including Communications, Business Ad, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Public Administration, or other Liberal Arts and Business degrees
