About the position:

Our Finance & Accounting team is seeking an enthusiastic FP&A Associate to support our Controller and FP&A Manager during a period of rapid growth. This individual is primarily responsible for assisting with budgeting and planning processes, financial modeling, and in general, supporting Stellar Health's overall financial management and internal/external reporting. As Stellar Health scales, there will be significant opportunities for this individual to assume more responsibility and advance their career within FP&A in a high growth environment.

As FP&A Associate you will:

  • Support the Controller and FP&A Manager with the annual budgeting process and financial reporting, including forecasting and analysis, budget vs actuals etc.
  • Collaborate with and partner with teams across Stellar to provide analysis on trends, budget reporting and financial performance
  • Assist with the preparation of Board presentations for quarterly Board meetings, investor updates and executive summaries
  • Support ad hoc projects across the Finance and Accounting organization to help the team scale and level up processes in an effort to support our growth
  • Deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders to drive efficiencies
  • Support further equity fundraising efforts where appropriate

As FP&A Associate you should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance or investing at a reputable firm preferred. Candidates with FP&A experience at a large public companies and/or high growth startups will also be considered
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred
  • Fluent knowledge of financial statements and direct experience with building out robust 3-statement operating models
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities/knowledge
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or other accounting and financial planning systems
  • Working knowledge of GAAP principles
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality and consistent work product
