Position Summary
This position is responsible for delivering environmental stewardship and social responsibility. The role will oversee the environmental and social impact of the company's operations, interacting with both internal and external customers, representing the company in relevant public forums, building relationships with other companies, government agencies and non-governmental organizations. This individual will assist in accurate measuring of our sustainability performance, effectively communicate our sustainability message, and continually drive sustainability improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage the implementation of the company’s sustainability initiatives, including energy, water, and waste management across all operational sites. Monitor and maintain data collection systems to track utility consumption at company facilities.
- Lead the development and execution of sustainable solutions, ensuring they align with the company’s overall sustainability strategy.
- Identify and implement best practices in social responsibility, supporting the creation of action plans and capturing performance in relevant forums and reports.
- Coordinate and manage the annual sustainability report, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation of the company’s sustainability efforts and achievements.
- Engage with external sustainability programs and organizations, representing the company and fostering collaborative relationships.
- Develop and manage strategies to address supplier and customer sustainability requests, ensuring alignment with the company’s sustainability goals.
- Lead the development of sustainability metrics, analyses, and forecasts to support both long-term and short-term business plans.
- Analyze existing and new environmental and social sustainability metrics, providing insights to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Support all aspects of the company’s current sustainability strategy, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with industry standards.
- Develop and manage data collection and auditing systems for the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability metrics.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with the company’s sustainability objectives.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on sustainability projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, customers, community groups, and regulatory bodies, to advance sustainability initiatives.
- Communicate sustainability goals and progress to stakeholders through various channels, including reports, presentations, and meetings, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Position Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience supporting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) data activities.
- Previous experience with sustainability management systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability in developing, managing, and altering sustainability policies.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerBI, with the ability to create complex, visually optimized dashboards for diverse audiences.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with customers, clients, and employees.
- Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data, and solve practical problems.
- Results-oriented, with a strong focus on achieving sustainability goals.

- Reliable transportation, ensuring the ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Professional certifications in sustainability or related areas (e.g., LEED, ISSP).
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and managing cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

Estimated Wage Range: $86,600 - $98k+
