Position Summary: As a key member of our team, you’ll communicate with Freedom’s external Sales Representatives to solve complex design revisions, Scope of Work adjustment requests, pricing issues, and provide advanced-level support to the Sales Concierge Team.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned queues and document project findings and resolutions per established SOPs.
- Review Scope of Work for Residential Solar Projects.
- Triage projects, create practical solutions, initiate proper action, and follow through.
- Build rapport with sales managers, sales administrators, and sales representatives to improve realization rates.
- Demonstrate understanding of the Aurora design platform to initiate design changes.
- Comprehend complex design requirements and understand necessary equipment changes.
- Properly escalate design and SOW issues to the appropriate internal teams for resolution.
- Answer and action a variety of process and project-specific questions.
- Become familiar with project requirements based on region, utilities, AHJs, and finance partners.
- Become proficient in LIGHTSPEED, Freedom’s custom-built CRM.
- Participate in team meetings, discussions, and other activities to support the team and improve operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
- Education & Certifications: High School Graduate or GED.
- Schedule Requirement: Must be open to working Saturday and Sunday.
Experience:
- 1+ years of solar sales support experience preferred; 1+ years of customer service experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Proficiency with computers and communication equipment (phone, instant messaging, video conferencing, email, etc.).
- Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Focus on operational excellence and perseverance in high-stress environments.
- Maintain professionalism when dealing with difficult situations.
- Follow written and verbal directions, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Basic clerical and typing skills (minimum 35 words per minute).
- Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Highly organized and able to multitask on several projects simultaneously.
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
