Electrical Engineer (Hardware Design)

Freeform, a cutting-edge technology company in the 3D printing industry, is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be involved in designing custom electronics for advanced metal 3D printing factory systems.

Skills

Proficiency in designing analog and digital circuits
Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
Ability to take a first-principles approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

Rapidly design, develop, and test highly reliable electronics and PCBs
Model and simulate circuit designs for analysis and performance
Contribute to electrical architecture, product requirements, component selection, analysis, prototyping, documentation, and more
Drive component selection, prototyping, bring-up, and testing
Hands-on debugging of unexpected issues using laboratory test equipment and custom instrumentation

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or similar field
