As a Construction Representative IV at Freese and Nichols, you'll play a pivotal role overseeing a diverse range of infrastructure projects right in Austin, Texas. You will be the eyes and ears on-site, ensuring that construction is carried out per the approved plans and specifications. Your daily routine will include observing ongoing construction work, inspecting processes, and guiding fellow construction representatives along the way. You're expected to keep up with record-keeping, recommend payments to contractors, and prepare detailed daily reports that highlight the project's progress. You'll also help facilitate preconstruction meetings and assist in conflict resolutions. Your keen understanding of project management systems like e-Builder and your experience will be invaluable as you collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to communicate necessary changes and adapt to evolving circumstances.
