Role overview


Reporting directly into the Global VP Brand & Marketing, and working collaboratively with the Marketing, Legal, Media, and Executive teams, you will be accountable for shaping and executing Fresha’s public relations and corporate affairs strategies to enhance our brand reputation, manage stakeholder relationships, and support both corporate and consumer-focused objectives.

Departments to Work With


• Marketing Team: Collaborate closely to ensure PR strategies support overall marketing goals and integrate with advertising campaigns and social media efforts.

• Creative & Content Team: Work with the creative and content teams to develop compelling PR content and ensure alignment with broader creative strategies.

• Legal Team: Work with legal to manage corporate communications, compliance issues, and crisis management.

• Media Team: Coordinate with media and omni media teams to ensure cohesive cross-channel PR efforts.

• Executive Team: Partner with senior executives to align PR strategies with corporate objectives and represent the company in public forums.

• Data Analytics: Collaborate with data analytics teams to measure PR campaign effectiveness and gather insights for strategy optimization.


To foster a collaborative environment that thrives on face-to-face interactions and teamwork, all Fresha

employees work from the office four days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely one day each

week. London office address: WeWork, 10 York Rd, London SE1 7ND


What you will be doing
  • Corporate Affairs PR Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate affairs PR strategy that enhances Fresha’s reputation, builds positive relationships with key stakeholders, and supports corporate objectives. This includes managing corporate communications, investor relations, and crisis management.
  • Consumer Marketing PR Strategy: Design and execute a consumer-focused PR strategy that amplifies Fresha’s advertising campaigns and social media efforts. Enhance brand presence and engagement through media relations, influencer partnerships, and compelling brand storytelling.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers. Secure high-quality media coverage and manage media inquiries to ensure positive representation of Fresha.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and execute crisis communication plans to address potential issues and mitigate risks. Act as the primary spokesperson during crises, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and community organizations. Represent Fresha in meetings, public events, and industry forums.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of strategic content for press releases, corporate announcements, speeches, and other PR materials. Ensure content aligns with Fresha’s brand voice and messaging.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the planning and execution of PR campaigns that align with marketing initiatives and corporate goals. Measure and report on campaign effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Amplification of Advertising and Social Media: Work closely with the marketing and social media teams to integrate PR efforts with advertising campaigns and social media activities. Enhance the impact and reach of these campaigns through coordinated PR strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the PR and corporate communications teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Brand Reputation Management: Monitor and manage Fresha’s public perception, addressing any negative coverage and promoting positive stories. Implement strategies to enhance the company’s overall reputation.
  • Internal Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and communication within the organization. Develop internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Agency Management: Manage relationships with external PR agencies, including overseeing their work, setting clear objectives, and ensuring alignment with Fresha’s PR strategies.
  • Industry Trends & Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in PR and corporate affairs. Incorporate innovative approaches to keep Fresha’s PR strategies current and effective.

What we are looking for
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in public relations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing both corporate affairs and consumer marketing PR. Proven track record of managing high-profile PR campaigns and corporate communications.
  • Corporate Affairs Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, and crisis management. Ability to navigate complex corporate environments and communicate effectively with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Consumer PR Expertise: Proven experience in developing and executing consumer-focused PR strategies, including media relations, influencer partnerships, and brand storytelling. Ability to amplify advertising campaigns and social media efforts through integrated PR strategies.
  • Media Relations: Strong background in building and maintaining relationships with media professionals and securing high-quality media coverage.
  • Crisis Management: Experience in developing and implementing crisis communication plans and managing media relations during high-pressure situations.
  • Content Creation: Excellent writing and content creation skills, with the ability to produce engaging and strategically aligned PR materials.
  • Team Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and developing PR teams.
  • Agency Management: Experience in managing external PR agencies, including setting objectives and ensuring deliverables align with strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and community organizations.
  • Innovation & Trends: Knowledge of current PR trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Ability to incorporate innovative approaches into PR strategies.

Added Bonus
  • Bi-lingual: Fluency in English and another language.
  • Experience with Digital PR: Familiarity with digital PR tools and platforms, including social media and online media management.
  • Awards & Recognition: A portfolio of successful PR campaigns and awards or recognition in the industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the tech or SaaS industry, or a related sector, is a plus.

Interview Process
  • Screen Call - Video call with Talent Team (30 minutes)
  • 1st Stage - In person with VP of Marketing and Chief People Officer (60-90 minutes)
  • Final Stage - In person with Leadership Team (90 minutes)
