Job Description

The Residence Inn by Marriott in Lynchburg, VA is accepting applications for Part- Time Guest Services Representative. Must be able to work weekends and be flexible. Applicants must have a great personality, effective conflict resolution skills, excellent communication and team work ability, able to multi-task and provide the best customer service to our guest's.

Job Description:

- Greet guests at all times

- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately

- Operate hotel standards, take calls and provide information and transfer calls- Provide guests with best service

- Strong team work, willing to help other departments and colleagues

- Take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person

- Answer queries regarding the hotel's services, charges, attractions and travel directions

- Provide guests with directions around the hotel

- Print reports, statements and ensure projects are accomplish in a timely matter

- Contact housekeeping and maintenance departments when a problem is reported

- Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift. No prior hotel experience is needed, we are looking to hire for the right attitude, personality and will train! Please, apply in person or send resume/work history through email.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)
