Frontend Developer/Designer

We are a group of ~20 in 3 countries looking to disrupt the way products are engineered and made and have an existing successful SaaS application. As we grow we are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with a passion for UX/UI. We have a startup-focused mindset and culture, so strong communication skills and passion are important! You're going to take primary ownership of frontend work. Read: You have strong design instincts and opinions, but also unafraid of getting involved in getting the code done and don't mind if it's grunt work. You will be building out a team to help you on the frontend, but the majority of the experience will come from you. You will have prior experience of daily code commit experience in a strong team to succeed in this role.

What you will do:

• You'll be the person in charge of our entire in-app front-end experience
• Build and maintain great web experiences
• Have a big say in design to ensure that customer requirements are translated into easy to build and maintain features
• Experiment and try new things
• Push the limits of what the web can do

Must Have:

• Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks React, Next.js, React Native, etc
• Strong product design sense (you will own major product decisions)
• Experience with Figma, Balsamiq or the like
• Ability to integrate 3rd party APIs and a strong understanding of REST and other API patterns
• Strong understanding of web accessibility principles, patterns, and testing
• High attention to detail
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• JavaScript testing experience
• Worked on design systems building highly composable, reusable components
• Experience building, optimizing, and maintaining websites with high traffic and performance demands

Nice to Have:

• A natural level of curiosity about 3D printing, manufacturing, the industry
• Any combination of 3D printing, robotics, 3D modeling, or CAD experience
• Start-up or similar experience, where you can see an impact of good decisions on the daily
