Frontend Engineer (I, II, III)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer who will contribute significantly to the development of our advanced cell therapy manufacturing platform.

The primary focus of this position will be to develop the user interface for the cell shuttle’s software platform. You work closely with other software engineers, systems and mechanical engineers, product management, and user experience teams to develop a modern UI for our products. This is a hands-on position.

Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, and be prepared to tackle a broad selection of challenges as the company grows.

Responsibilities

Develop, create, and modify enterprise web applications through an understanding of end-user needs
Engages with the Product team to seek a deeper appreciation of the customer's business problem/goals
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
Ensure successful integration of software modules our larger software application suites
Work with biologists, product management, software engineers and mechanical engineers to define, implement and verify software engineering requirements
Participate in software engineering lifecycle from Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Reviews through testing and maintenance

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with 0-6 years relevant experience OR Master's Degree with 0-4 years of experience OR PhD
Good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to solve complex problems, and applicable technical experience
Experience in Agile development, scripting languages, and DevOps environments
Experience working with web technologies and frameworks: HTML, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS and REST-based APIs
Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming principles and best practices
Self-awareness, integrity, authenticity, and a growth/entrepreneurial mindset
