Issues frequently addressed include the measurement, assessment and forecasting of economic performance; the financial analysis and valuation of direct and indirect interests in businesses; intellectual property rights and complex financial instruments; the pricing of goods, services and financial instruments in markets, and the effect of incentives on behaviour.The EFC team has grown constantly over the last 10 years, and now includes 180 professionals in Europe (including 20 in Paris).About the Role:Consultant's responsibilities consist of assessing the financial impact (sometimes in billions of dollars) of breaches of international treaties or contracts. Examples include the expropriation of assets, breach of concession agreements or infringement of minority shareholder rights.The Consultant will join one of the most renowned teams of financial experts in the world, in a highly international environment (most of our projects are in English). As a Consultant you will have the opportunity to apply your intellect and analytical skills to challenging economic, financial and business issues for prestigious clients across many different industries (energy, TMT, mining, luxury, etc.).At FTI Consulting, the Consultant will have the opportunity to apply his/her theoretical knowledge in corporate finance by participating in financial valuations (DCF method, comparable analysis, financial modelling, etc.) and will be exposed to prominent and current issues across a number of industries.Our Consultants play a key role throughout each of our projects, collaborating with team members on project design, performing research and analysis, and developing insights and conclusions.The Consultant will be supported through professional qualifications to become a Chartered Accountant (ACA) or a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). In addition, we have a comprehensive in-house learning and development programme.
