Fulfillment Associate - job 2 of 4

SupplyHouse.com, a successful e-commerce heating, plumbing, and HVAC supply company, is seeking Fulfillment Associates to add to our fulfillment team in our Ohio location! If you are motivated and want to start a career with a rapidly growing company, we want you to hear from you!

Job type: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Shift Options:

• Picking and Packing:
  • Monday through Friday, from 11:00am to 7:30pm EST
  • Saturday's from 7:30am to 3:30pm and Monday through Thursday, from 11:00am to 7:30pm EST
• Receiving:
  • Monday through Friday, from 6:00am to 2:30pm EST

Location: Columbus, OH
Base pay rate: $20/hour (Paid Weekly)

Positions available:

• Picking: Select specific items listed for orders from the fulfilment center locations, using handheld scanners for guided instructions to meet our shift volume.
  • Order Processing: Picking items with correct quantity and accuracy as per instructions. Some items may be required to be bagged.
  • Item Retrieval: Navigate through the fulfillment center using provided equipment (ex. RF scanners and picking containers) to locate items according to their storage locations and place them as directed into the correct picking container.
  • Completion: Proceed with picking container to staging area to allow the order/s to packed.

• Packing: Securely package items to prevent damage in transport while following instructions from the WMS packing screen.
  • Order Processing: Review order details and packaging instructions provided at a standing pack station, including item codes, quantities, and any special packaging requirements.
  • Packaging: Select appropriate packaging materials based on the size, shape, and fragility of the items.
  • Labeling and Documentation: Generate shipping labels and affix them to the packages accurately, ensuring correct address and other necessary information.
  • Completion: Place the completed, fully sealed package on the conveyor to be loaded onto the truck.

• Receiving: Handle the incoming inventory that arrive at the fulfillment center.
  • Inspect Goods: Receive deliveries from suppliers and carriers and carefully inspecting the goods to ensure they meet quality standards and match the corresponding purchase orders or shipment records.
  • Verify Quantity and Quality: Accurate counting and verification of product quality and ensure that the received quantities match the purchase orders and that the products are in good condition.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• All other duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or SupplyHouse.com management
