Full Stack Software Engineer

Wilson Elser is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer that focuses on Microsoft products. Focal points of the role include standardizing the firm’s application development environment, providing strategic coordination and providing analysis of existing and development of new stable, extensible, and maintainable applications. This can be remote anywhere we have offices in the CST or EST time zones.

The Position

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field
  • Experience in Scrum Agile methodologies is a plus
  • Technical experience with various applications commonly used in a legal or professional environment is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in developing custom and modern Microsoft .Net apps using .NET framework, .Net Core, C#, MVC, ASP.Net, and VB.Net application development
  • Experience developing with responsive front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular/React/Node JS, etc).
  • Experience developing back-end technologies (SQL Server, Azure SQL) and custom built APIs
  • Experience in JavaScript Framework, JQuery, AJAX and JSON
  • Strong programming capabilities in SQL Server 2012 and above, along with strong understanding of SQL databases
  • Expertise in SQL Reporting Services (SSRS/SSIS) and Crystal Reports, Azure analytics and warehousing products and services (PowerBI, etc) is a plus
  • Native mobile application development via Swift, PowerApps, and/or Kotlin is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for creating, refactoring, validating and deploying custom web & mobile applications
  • Ensures that development design meets the overall architectural principles and standards for the firm (such as performance, scalability, reliability, etc.)
  • Responsible for back-end data migrations and customizations of third-party applications
  • Provide second level IT support to user community for various custom and vendor applications
  • Communicate regularly with personnel at all levels of the organization

The annualized salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000.Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
