Principal DevOps Engineer

At G-P, our mission is to break down barriers to global business. We are looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in cloud solutions and frameworks to join our remote-first team.

Skills

Strong experience with AWS
Strong background in cloud, DevOps, and developer experience roles
Proficiency in Python, Java, and/or JavaScript
Experience in CI/CD pipelines and Infra as Code tools like Terraform
Hands-on experience in maintaining developer experience tooling
Experience in large-scale distributed systems and high availability computing

Responsibilities

Be a technical expert in cloud solutions and frameworks across multiple platform and product teams
Accelerate the adoption of engineering best practices
Build Paved Paths and Golden Paths for various types of apps
Create reference architectures and infrastructure code
Design and deliver proof of concepts and reusable accelerators
Work with cross-functional teams to scale the G-P platform
Promote DevOps practices across the organization
Implement and maintain automation for provisioning Cloud Infrastructure
