Summary:
We seek a skilled Kubernetes Administrator with a security clearance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring containerized applications' reliability, performance, and scalability. This role involves collaborating with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance our cloud infrastructure. Must be comfortable working in a disconnected environment.
Responsibilities:
Cluster Management: Deploy, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across various environments, including classified environments.
Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilization; implement performance tuning and optimization strategies.
Security: Implement and manage security best practices for Kubernetes clusters, including RBAC, network policies, and secrets management.
Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and scaling of applications.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cluster configurations, processes, and procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless application integration and deployment.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters in a production environment.
Certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent certification is preferred.
Top Secret clearance is required.

Networking: Knowledge of networking concepts and tools related to Kubernetes, such as CNI plugins.
Problem-solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
