    Job Description

    We are looking for an experienced QA Associate Manager to join our Compliance QA Team.

    You’ll be reporting to the Compliance QA Manager and Head of QA and you’ll be responsible for supporting them and the team in various aspects, including making sure our games pass the submissions without issues, providing advice to our Development Teams, recruiting new talent, providing information and mentorship to Compliance QA Leads, managing resources, developing and implementing new operational and business transformation ideas.

    You’ll be working with various Stakeholders, such as Game Producers, Game Managers, Game Developers, Release and Operations Managers, other QA specializations, QA Managers, etc… to take the best decisions for providing a top-notch Compliance QA Service.

    You’ll apply an Entrepreneurial mindset to identify problems and/or opportunities by yourself, developing plans to address them, getting the buy in from Stakeholders and decisional factors, ultimately behaving as an internal Business Leader.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement Compliance strategies, goals, and policies
    • Advocate for and drive the mission, vision and direction of the team
    • Oversee daily activities of Compliance QA Leads
    • Ensure projects adhere to submissions roadmaps
    • Ensure Development Teams are aware of and adhere to Compliance standards
    • Identify areas for improvement within QA workflows
    • Stay updated on Compliance trends and emerging QA technologies, advocating for them internally and supporting their integration
    • Drive best practice implementations inside the Compliance QA Team
    • Lead initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Product Management, and Operations, to ensure quality goals are met
    • Provide regular updates to QA Management on Compliance performance, challenges, and outcomes
    • Define and track key QA Compliance metrics to measure performance and identify bottlenecks
    • Analyze data to make informed decisions and guide future QA initiatives
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for upper management
    • Identify potential risks and work to mitigate them proactively.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years’ experience in a Compliance management or technical role across multiple Console/PC platforms
    • Expert Compliance knowhow in at least one Console platform (Bonus points for PlayStation, or multiple platforms)
    • Compliance-oriented exposure to all gaming platforms (Console, PC, Mobile, Netflix, Apple Arcade, etc.)
    • Advanced knowhow of the entire Submission pipeline on at least one Console platform (Bonus points for PlayStation, or multiple platforms!) – including the actual submission process, writing waivers or direct interaction with platform contacts
    • Worked on and/or shipped 3+ major Console/PC titles
    • Actively worked with 5+ Development Teams simultaneously
    • Bonus points for knowhow of Automation/AI integration in Compliance flows
    • Good overall understanding of Gaming Production & Delivery pipelines
    • Great expertise in testing methodologies, processes, technologies, best practices, tools
    • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities
    • Client orientation, with a focus on solving Compliance and Certification needs
    • Analytical mindset, proactively interpreting complex data to prevent blockers
    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
    • Self-motivated, positive attitude, growth mindset, solution oriented
    • Familiarity with industry-specific standards
