Assistant Manager, Merchandising

Job Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Merchandising Assistant. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the merchandising team in various tasks to ensure effective product placement and presentation in our retail stores.Responsibilities:- Assist in creating and implementing visual merchandising strategies to enhance product displays and drive sales- Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop and execute planograms and schematics for product placement- Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards- Assist in training store staff on visual merchandising techniques and standards- Support the development and execution of training materials for store staff- Assist in the coordination of store promotions and events- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the purchasing team to ensure adequate stock levels- Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, and maintaining documentation related to merchandising activitiesRequirements:- Previous experience in visual design, retail sales, or store management is preferred- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate execution of visual merchandising plans- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus- Multilingual skills are an asset for effective communication with diverse teams and customers- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to supervise and provide guidance to store staff when necessaryNote: This is a paid position, including internship positions.Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.85 - $31.35 per hourLicense/Certification:• Driver's License (Preferred)Ability to Commute:• Brooklyn, NY 11239 (Required)Ability to Relocate:• Brooklyn, NY 11239: Relocate before starting work (Required)Willingness to travel:• 25% (Preferred)Work Location: In person
