We're looking for the people who'll help make our next decade just as revolutionary as our first five. As a of Product Manager of API Management, you will work with your product management counterparts and leaders to understand upcoming capabilities and help to scope out the customer experience. In this role, you will manage the design, development, and ongoing iteration of Gap's API Management solution. The API Management product domain will enable features like API traffic management, authentication, authorization, monitoring, and analytics into easily configurable and automated capabilities which will be leveraged to simplify the work done by our enterprise development teams. The API Management domain will be critical in securely deploying, maintaining, and integrating APIs with applications both internally and externally to the organization. You will collaborate with dependent product teams to ensure that the end-to-end implementation journey is thorough and thoughtful. You will write robust requirements, prioritize the backlog, and work closely with the engineering teams to deliver and test quality software. The role requires a strong product mindset; combination of business savvy, customer centricity and technical knowledge. We are looking for product managers that are passionate about the customer's journey, while strive to understand the complexities of system integrations and operational impacts. What You'll Do Manages API Management roadmaps for multiple features; Articulates user needs, pain points, user impact, and desired outcomes for features Responsible for maintaining and prioritizing a backlog of API Management work items for multiple apps or services Manages key stakeholder engagement strategy on all API Management initiatives Keeps up to date with the latest API Management features, technologies, and trends. Drives the adoption of the API Management solution and associated tools across the organization. Builds relationships with key business partners and other brand stakeholders; Articulates product needs clearly and succinctly to different audiences and cross functional partners Identifies dependencies with other strategic initiatives; Influences other product managers to incorporate dependent features into roadmaps Develops in-depth knowledge of industry trends and standards to introduce continual process, tool and methodology improvements. Identifies, measures, and interprets results to validate product strategy; Provide research, analysis, and support for identifying, evaluating, and resolving strategic opportunities.
