Gathern is a company developing a peer-to-peer (P2P) vacation rental marketplace. Its solution allows users to rent a villa, apartment, farm, caravan, room, chalet, camp, or yacht, among other options, directly from an individual owner, while the owners have the ability to list their properties for rent through the website and application without having to obtain an individual rental license.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for leading and overseeing the talent acquisition function at Gathern. They will develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent, manage the end-to-end recruitment process, and build strong relationships with hiring managers and external partners.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Talent Acquisition Strategy:
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with Gathern's business objectives.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop effective recruitment plans.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage external partnerships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and other talent sources.
End-to-End Recruitment:
- Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle for various roles across the organization.
- Source, attract, and screen candidates through various channels, including online platforms and networking.
- Conduct interviews and assess the qualifications and cultural fit of potential candidates.
- Negotiate job offers and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the talent acquisition team.
- Mentor and develop team members to ensure their professional growth and success.
- Collaborate with the HR team and hiring managers to streamline recruitment processes.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Utilize HR analytics and reporting tools to track recruitment metrics and effectiveness.
- Generate reports and provide insights on recruitment performance and trends.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
- 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of sourcing and attracting top talent for various roles.
- Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
