Senior/Staff Mechanical Engineer

Gatik is a leader in autonomous middle mile logistics, delivering goods safely and efficiently using its fleet of trucks. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Hardware Integration team.

Skills

3D CAD design and 2D drafting
FE analysis skills
Knowledge of engineering processes and PDM/PLM
Component selection and specification
Hands-on engineering skills

Responsibilities

Lead engineering efforts for mechanical design & analysis
Take ownership of subsystems or complex component assemblies
Perform FE analyses and detailed component calculations
Champion DFM, DFA & DFS efforts
Collaborate with the validation team in testing

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
