Job Description SummaryResponsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services. Working in the areas of machine, cloud, platform and/or application. Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities• Responsible for programing a feature and or a small feature set. Contributes to the team and works with direction from Senior Team Members or management, beginning to work independently).• Act as a member in Software Center of Excellence, representing the face of high quality design and development practices. Implement new functionalities in power system application software which includes EMS (Energy Management System) and DTS (Dispatcher Training Simulator) applications.• Provide maintenance of power systems application functionality; including code fixes, documentation, and user interfaces.• Collaborate with system/project engineers, frontend developers and EMS application developers to implement solutions that are aligned with product direction.• Limited direct customer interaction.Basic Qualification• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with thesis or related work in power systems. No experience required.• Some work or academic experience in power systems and/or energy management systems.• Exposure to software development.Eligibility Requirement• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
