We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to support a mid-size manufacturing company in a direct role! This position is full-time and will be based out of Wilmington, NC.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical drafting and design responsibilities.
Create, edit and revise 3D models and designs of products from customer specifications.
Utilize SolidWorks, 3D CAD, and/or Inventor to create drawings.
Generate detailed plans for customer review and fabrication.
Requirements
Education & Years of Experience – Associate's Degree in Drafting/Design or a related Engineering field and 4+ years of relevant experience.
Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
Must have experience with SolidWorks and/or Inventor.
Must have experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Windows XP.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skill.

Sheet metal experience.
Weldment experience.
PDM experience.
AutoCAD experience.
