Data Analyst, Trust & Safety
Gemini, a global crypto platform, is seeking a Data Analyst for their Trust & Safety department. The role involves monitoring and mitigating fraud activities, implementing fraud prevention controls, data processing, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive insights for the team.
Skills
- Advanced SQL skills
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with BI applications (Tableau/Looker/Power BI)
- Experience with MPP databases (Redshift, Bigquery, Snowflake)
- Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Pentaho, SSIS)
Responsibilities
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate fraud activity
- Develop and implement high precision fraud prevention controls
- Process, clean, and visualize data from complex databases
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive insights
- Design experimentation frameworks and improve fraud capture rates
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve data issues
- Research new tools and technologies to improve processes
