JD degree
Minimum 6 years of relevant legal experience
Fluency in English
Member of a US state bar in good standing
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and U.S. securities laws
Experience in handling licensing applications and drafting customer-facing disclosures
Strong problem-solving skills and interest in disruptive technology

Responsibilities

Provide risk-principled legal, regulatory, and strategic advice to product, design, marketing, and technology teams
Support Gemini’s Exchange, Crypto Core, and NeoBank business lines
Draft and negotiate complex agreements and establish thoughtful standards for customers based on regulatory requirements
Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders regarding regulatory matters
Collaborate with the Legal team to evaluate legal risks and develop solutions in a changing regulatory landscape
