As the Cloud Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring a secure network solution in the Azure cloud environment that will support the implementation, solution delivery, and operations of hosted customer applications. You will be working daily with internal and external engineering teams, development, integration, and program stakeholders to ensure that activities are performed in accordance with program objectives, policies, regulations, and requirements.
Selected candidate will operate 100% remote.
How The Cloud Network Engineer Will Make An Impact:
• Provide scheduling and integration support as necessary to modify, change, or implement required engineering changes to the ICAM solution.
• Support the daily administration of cloud network activities.
• Support management of cloud network changes in the Azure environment.
• Plan or support network patching and upgrades.
• Ensure activities are compliant with IAVM, STIGs, policies, and regulations for cloud network environments.
• Assist with the planning of cloud services, features, and capabilities.
• Maintain network drawings as needed for the cloud network architecture.
• Analyze cloud network performance and capacity.
• Provides expert guidance and leadership to less-experienced colleagues.
• Participate in daily scrum calls, sprint planning & sprint review sessions.
• Complete other job-related functions as required.
What You'll Need To Be Successful (Required):
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years related technical experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Current CompTIA Security+ CE certification (or higher) required.
• Demonstrated experience with MS Azure, automation concepts, tools, DoD IAVM and STIGs.
Additional Qualifications (Desired):
• 5+ years’ experience supporting large-scale cloud networks, including automating routine network tools.
• Azure Security Engineer certification.
• Microsoft Solutions Architect certification.
• Familiarization with DoD enterprise environments.
The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
