Job Description:
As an Operations Administrative Assistant you will contribute to the efficiency of our team by providing personalized and timely support to several members of the Defense leadership team and the Defense Growth organization. We are seeking a highly self-motivated professional who can manage workload by prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment.
How An Operations Administrative Assistant Will Make An Impact
• Manage, coordinate, and update calendar schedules in Microsoft Outlook
• Organize and support in-person and virtual meetings, including reserving rooms, preparing for events, ordering catering as necessary and coordinating with on-site facilities and IT
• Organize and book travel for VPs
• Perform a variety of Defense Growth, Division, and CTO Ops related administrative duties
• Greet guests including vendors, customers, and other professionals for office visits
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding new employees
• Support purchasing activities
• Maintain distribution lists. files, documents, etc.
• Act as a resource for questions regarding expense reporting in Concur, Timekeeping, etc.
• Assist with Salesforce record maintenance
• Coordinate with other functional teams across the company as needed
What You’ll Need To Succeed:
• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science preferred but may substitute 4+ years of professional experience in lieu of degree
• Proficient with MS office suite including Outlook and Teams
• Calendaring experience preferred
• Must have 6+ months of experience in an office environment
• Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
• Location: Hybrid position that will require being in the Falls Church office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and any other days as required in the Falls Church office with flexibility for telecommuting the other days
• US Citizenship is required to access certain systems

The likely salary range for this position is $63,750 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
