Here, you'll support solving some of our clients' biggest challenges and help us grow the business while providing financial support duties to accomplish mission critical objectives.As a Senior Financial Analyst at GDIT, you will be joining our Defense Agencies Finance team to support the ETM Next Generation Program.HOW A SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:- Perform financial functions to include cost accounting, revenue recognition, subcontractor financial management, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, Estimate-At-Completion (EAC) calculations, Accounts Receivable (AR) Reviews, purchase requisition review, proposal pricing, and other ad hoc reporting- Experience with multiple government contract types (i.e. FFP, CPFF etc...- Responsible for various Forecast and Budgeting to include preparation, analysis, and input of revenue, costs and investments for monthly, quarterly and annual outlooks as well as strategic planning for multiple years- Prepare financial updates, EACs and other corporate reporting requirements for monthly close and forecasting process- Ability to prepare and review pricing with recommendations for Program Team- Interface frequently with project manager, program staff and other business area leaders- Supports assigned managers in managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting financial data as requested- Financial monthly reviews with management to provide insight into the business- Analytical and problem-solving mindset- Knowledge of Government Contracts and modifications, Government Contract terms and FAR nice to have- Be knowledgeable of and compliant with internal policies and procedures, as well as government regulations- Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies and proceduresWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:- Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of financial analysis experience is required.- Required Experience : 5+ years of financial analysis experience- Required Technical Skills : Strong MS Office skills, specifically Microsoft Excel to include Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced formulas- Required Skills and Abilities : Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and levels of an organization. Sound organization skills with a focus on accuracy and consistency. Strong time management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and clients.- Preferred Skills: Oracle/Hyperion/Essbase/SmartView experience; Government Contracting experience.- Location : This is a hybrid position working in our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
