General Manager, Miami

Here is what you will be doing:

• Oversee the day to day operations to meet profit and revenue targets
• Demonstrate successful execution of business strategies for the agency’s products and services
• Drive business development efforts
• Assist with identifying target organizations and key prospects with the potential to generate revenue and ensure a consistent, organized approach to prospect outreach
• Attend local events on behalf of our firm and network effectively to generate leads with prospects and secure partnerships with agency partners
• Out facing, external “face of the company”
• Serve as agency primary marketing contact with top management, Practice and Dept. heads, key client decision makers, where appropriate, and key media
• Must be able to do the PR job, if needed
• Hands dirty, tactical

Here is what you will have:

• Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify.
• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience, with 5 in an executive level position
• Experience must be within the Public Relations or Communications industry
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking and presentation skills
• Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development and strategic planning
• Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies
• A high-performing individual with an entrepreneurial attitude
