Warehouse Stocker

Job Summary:The warehouse assistant is responsible for supervising the facility's materials management. This includes receiving incoming shipments, organizing inventory, preparing orders, and packing shipments. You will also be operating forklifts, maintaining quality control, adhering to safety regulations and keeping records of all materials movements. Your role is critical in ensuring optimal warehouse operations, which support the company's overall productivity and success.Responsibilities:• Careful handling and stacking of materials and merchandise with a forklift can help reduce the risk of accidents, including injury and damage to goods or the forklift itself• The efficient use of railcars requires attention to detail, particularly with regards to the opener, hopper, and lids• Developing expertise in all facets of elevator mechanics, including installation, repair, and maintenance• Keeping a space clean requires using various cleaning methods, such as scrubbing, shoveling, and vacuuming to remove debris from all surfaces and spaces• Maintaining the cleanliness of the unloading area, railcar area, and equipment will allow for easier inspection, repair, and maintenance, reducing downtime and improving productivity• We currently have an opening for a maintenance technician with expertise in primary upkeep duties like changing belts and employing lubrication.
