In addition to the multiple weekly events attended by all interns, you’ll work alongside industry experts for a 12-week internship beginning May 19, 2025. Your work with the Financial Planning & Analysis team offers an opportunity to develop analytical and interpersonal skills, transform financial performance indicators into actionable insights, and learn more about the financial operations of a public company.THE PROGRAMEnact’s Internship Program provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in achieving business results while developing technical and professional skills. The internship program is a critical component of Enact’s talent pipeline as we look to interns to provide cutting edge ideas and skills that will drive business success.Enact invests time, energy, and resources to create a worthwhile experience for interns. Interns work on meaningful business projects, but beyond that, they will network directly with leaders throughout the company (all the way up to the CEO), attend teambuilding events with their internship cohort, connect with the community through volunteer opportunities (both on-site and off-site), and attend professional development workshops. It’s a unique internship experience that helps interns develop a network of peers and mentors who act as a source of constant engagement and guidance during the internship.LOCATIONEnact Headquarter Office, Raleigh, NC – Hybrid ScheduleYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES• Collaborate with peers and leaders to understand Enact and the Mortgage Insurance business and FP&A roles and responsibilities• Support development of monthly & quarterly presentations detailing business results, variances, and forecast changes to FP&A and Finance leadership audiences• Partner with various departments to analyze business drivers and financial performance• Continuously improve work product and processes with focus on automation, efficiency, and expanding technologies• Assist the FP&A team with projects, using Excel and communication skills to share results• Successfully meet the expectations of Enact’s high-performance culture and our values of connection, excellence, and improvementYOUR QUALIFICATIONS• Student in a quantitative research field such as: Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related discipline.• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with financial software and accounting systems is a plus.• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to collaborate and contribute to team goals.• Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and commitment to achieving excellence.
