We have designers that specialize in Video Production, Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics, 3D and AR/VR all working together to create. This position will often act as the first point of contact to troubleshoot production equipment and / resolve technical issues, manage studio operation schedules, direct greenscreen video productions and see projects through post-production (edit, color grading, basic motion graphics, audio). We are looking for self-starter who is excited to stay on the cutting edge of studio and post-production technology who will strive to grow with our multimedia department.What you will do –Applicants for the position will be creative professionals tasked with conceptualizing, planning, producing, assessing, and continuously improving media projects for GSU courses and programs. As a video production specialist, you will work on multimedia projects to expand how students experience learning and bring that vision to life in a way that feels innovative and inspirational. You will anticipate students’ needs by deeply understanding them. You will make the complex simple. You understand that the details are not just details, they make the experience. You are well versed throughout the production process, from maintaining equipment to fully managing green screen production.In this position you will:· Apply human-centered design principles and develop innovative, immersive content for a diverse audience.· Participate in the development of ideas and implementation of processes equipment and software maintenance and improvements for the GSU CETLOE production studios.· Coordinate operational scheduling to meet production requirements.· Review scripts prior to productions for grammar, clarity, and quality.· Direct our client’s script delivery in a way that helps our clients to give their best possible performance.· Work with other multimedia producers to ensure all video elements are ready for release: correct spelling, functionality, format, and concept.· Produce and direct one-person-crew remote live video shoots.· Produce and direct location interviews and B-roll acquisition shoots.· General knowledge of all aspects (camera, sound, light) of location video shoots.· Mix studio and location audio for live to air and taped production.· Edit and clean final studio audio· Search, edit and mix appropriate music for video projects where needed.· Partner with team members to effectively share production techniques and skills to strengthen the team.· Lead the implementation, training, and procedural development of studio processes, equipment and software.· Partner frequently with the graphic design and video production teams in the development of cohesive multimedia packages and videos.· Solicit feedback from users, cross-disciplinary partners and stakeholders.
