German-speaking Business Development Manager (Lead Generation & Prospecting)

Position:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Salary: Competitive base salary + commission (OTE £49k+) AND great employee perks

Office Location: London Shoreditch, near Old Street Station (+ working from home)

Start: Flexible start dates

As Business Development Manager you will generate leads for our global sales team by booking meetings with C-level contacts and HR directors through outbound calling and managing incoming leads.

You will be part of a small, but international team of colleagues based in London, Copenhagen and Vilnius and you will work in close cooperation with our top management/founders, which means that you will get a large amount of influence on shaping your own tasks and making them your own.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Book meetings with HR decision makers for our sales team (generating leads) and manage reschedules
  • Engaging our prospective clients in targeted discussion about the e-learning industry and our solution, pitching and conveying the benefits we can bring, and encouraging further interest in our learning platform Bookboon Learning
  • Qualify all sales leads based on specific lead qualification criteria definitions
  • Maintain and update our database of senior executives from the world’s leading companies so it is organised and structured
  • Report performance metrics to management on a daily/weekly basis


Requirements:

ABOUT YOU

Must have’s:

  • Fluency in German and English is a must
  • You love being on the phone and you know how to influence people!
  • You have some relevant experience in business development or sales development, outbound/cold calling, telemarketing, fundraising, prospecting, lead generation and ideally in dealing with B2B prospects
  • You are outgoing/extrovert and you can be assertive in your communication style
  • You are proactive, positive and full of energy - team work is a big one for us!

Nice to have’s:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as LinkedIn’s search function & SalesNavigator
  • Fluency in another European language is a plus
