Position:

THE ROLE

As a result of our rapid growth on the European market, we are currently looking for an Key Account Manager with a hunter mindset to help us grow our client base and drive success across Bookboon.

We're seeking a motivated self-starter with strong negotiating skills who recognises the opportunity in front of them and has the drive to make it happen. In return, we will give you the necessary support and autonomy to be successful. This includes a world-class lead generation team to help you build your pipeline and short decision-making processes, so you can fully focus on generating deals quickly.

So, if you are entrepreneurial in nature and have a proven track record of winning new logos in the enterprise sector, we would love to talk to you.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • To carry out phone and web meetings in order to build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities with focus on new accounts
  • This being a predominately “hunter” focused role, control the sales process and drive leads to closure to win new logos
  • Develop deep understanding of product capabilities and value proposition in the Corporate Learning sector
  • Meet and exceed both short-term margin goals as well as build consistent long-term margin potential through pipeline generation

Requirements:

ABOUT YOU

  • Multiple years of quota carrying sales experience (B2B), ideally with a background in software (SaaS) or selling HR solutions/services
  • Track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets and activities
  • Growth mindset; open to new ideas and learning new methods
  • Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills with the ability to sell at all levels within a company hierarchy
  • You maintain a strong sense of urgency, take initiative, and you’re full of energy
  • Ability to work (and be managed) remotely and still be highly effective
  • Candidates must be fluent in English, fluency in German, French or Dutch is a plus
