You just found it.Job OverviewAs a key member of the HR Management team, the VP HR is as a global business partner providing strategic support to a global business area leadership team, a large global group that contributes significantly to the success of the Getinge organization. Additionally, you will act as the leader for the North America HR Team. You will translate the business strategy and solve challenges, converting these into concrete business and people strategies and actions. We’re seeking a HR leader with proven strategic partnership and team qualities, operating in a global environment. To not only provide thought leadership on business needs but have a continuous improvement mindset, creating and delivering innovative solutions, developing and implementing impactful organizational recommendations and drive change management initiatives.Through close collaboration with corporate and Product Area leaders this role facilitates the achievement of the business goals through all HR activities which includes talent management, compensation, employee relations, performance management, and individual, team and organizational development.Being part of the global HR Management team, you will report to and work in close collaboration with the global Executive VP of HR, where you will be an active contributor to the global HR strategy, providing original and innovative ideas as HR continues to evolve to support the business.Whilst this is a position has global reach, Wayne, NJ, is a key location for Getinge and being within commutable distance to travel to the office is a benefit. Some international travel might be required throughout the year.Key Responsibilities:• Establish and implement the HR agenda in support of achieving the business strategy and operating plan. Serve as a member of the business area Management team, supporting the Business in aligning HR programs to support business ambition and targets.• Partner with the Product Area leaders and HR Product Area Leads to establish and drive employee engagement actions creating a positive high-performance organization.• Achieve a deep understanding of the business strategy, goals and objectives and support organizational changes by developing and implementing appropriate change management strategies.• Lead development and implementation of new HR processes as required to grow the business.• Assists with global initiatives and programs, establishing framework and overseeing implementation.• Develop internal bench-strength while utilizing talent acquisition strategies to ensure talent gaps are filled appropriately with high caliber talent.• Partner with Talent Acquisition to support talent initiatives that drive our short and long-term business goals, including supporting practices that enable high performance and operational excellence.• Reinforce our positive and collaborative work environment, openly sharing information and collaborating with the HR team ensuring cohesion in delivery of the team’s vision.• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures in effect to promote continual improvements• Coach managers and employees on performance management, career counseling, corrective action process and employee relations issues, including legal and regulatory compliance issues• Champion diversity initiatives for the group, and help execute employee engagement initiatives• Drive performance management and succession planning processes within client groups to develop key talent and bench strength for future needs; Engage in proactive talent retention.• Partner with cross-functional peers, employees, and HR team members to create and implement solutions to achieve business goals and strategic objectives.• Deliver effective training and communications on people processes, leadership development programs, etc. Facilitate team enhancement and intervention methods and tools as needed to support client groups• Participate in M&A HR work stream and coordinate and lead assigned projects for example in culture or engagement¨• Lead, guide and coach the North America HR Team• Drive regional synergies across North America in line with the overall HR Agenda and People Plan for GetingeRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Global experience successfully operating in complex matrix structure• Global HR thought leader able to contribute key ideas that deliver impactful solutions, not only in a partnership role but with the wider HR leadership team• Game changers, forward thinkers and team player role modeling the Getinge behaviors and values.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.• Ability to influence without authority.• Strong relationship-building skills, results and team orientation and a commitment to the highest level of integrity are required to be successful in the role.• Proven Organization, Leadership, Critical thinking and effective communication skills a must• Ability to implement actions plans effectively• Demonstrated ability to balance HR requirements against business needs to provide creative solutions for business success is critical.• Solutions orientated and driven by results• Team development and oversight of a maturing regional HR function• Demonstrating innovation and the ability to understand the future impact of AI in HR and the workplace• Strong skills using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Power PointAbout us Getinge is on an exciting transformation journey constantly looking for new ways to innovate together with our customers to meet the healthcare challenges of the future.
