As a leading global long-term investor, we Work at the Point of Impact for Singapore’s financial future, and the communities we invest in worldwide.External Managers DepartmentThe External Managers Department seeks to identify and partner with the best breed of global investment managers to benefit GIC at large, and capture investment opportunities to outperform our benchmarks.We seek a candidate to join our New York team as an Assistant Vice President or Vice President in the External Managers Department.Responsibilities:• Conduct fund manager due diligence, selection, monitoring, and portfolio construction.• Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses on investments, strategies, and market dynamics.• Diligence idiosyncratic or tactical market opportunities and co-investments.• Help manage portfolios of hedge fund and long-only managers, and source ideas from those exchanges.Requirements:• 5-12 years of equities experience in an analytical role, on the buy-side or sell-side, or similar.• Excellent analytical ability and intellectual curiosity.• Exceptional team player who is also comfortable working independently.• Strong communication skills.• Strong academic credentials.Work at the Point of ImpactWe need to be forward-looking to attract the right people to help us become the Leading Global Long-term Investor. We strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results.Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $140,000 and $230,000.
