Job Description:
The Gift Shop Manager is responsible for the profitable operations of the Medical Center's Gift Shop. This includes providing an atmosphere that promotes quality customer service and teamwork, supervising and training volunteers to provide service in the gift shop, developing and planning a budget, overseeing merchandise purchases to create a profit, creating attractive and effective displays, marketing and planning promotions managing inventory and financial tracking.
Job Description
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing preferred
Experience:
5 years of Management - Retail Management Position - Required
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Ability to work well at managing and motivating a volunteer staff.
Basic Bookkeeping skills required and proficiency in QuickBooks online – Preferred
Proficient in the use of Point of Sale Systems required and proficiency in Square POS preferred
Work Shift:
Exempt Salaried (United States of America)
Pay Range:
$60,828.00 - $91,242.00
Salary
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
