We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissions Analyst with 7+ years of experience to manage and oversee sales commission calculations and plans. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge and experience in reviewing sales deals, calculating commissions, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role will also be responsible for resolving commission-related issues and supporting audits.
What you’ll do:
Sales Deal Review: Review and analyze sales deals to ensure commissions are calculated in line with company policies.
Commission Calculation: Accurately calculate commissions based on the company’s compensation plans, ensuring timely and correct payouts.
Commission Plan Management: Assist in the management and maintenance of various sales commission plans, ensuring they are properly implemented.
General Ledger Accounting and Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring the integrity of financial data. Understanding of relevant accounting standards is advantageous.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve commission-related discrepancies and issues, working closely with finance and sales teams.
Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits related to commissions.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret commission data to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.
Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of commission processes by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting actionable solutions.
What you’ve done:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in compensation, commissions, or finance roles.
Strong accounting knowledge, particularly in commission calculations and financial analysis.
Proficiency in Excel, experience with software tools like Exactly and ERP accounting systems.
Experience with commission tracking software or related systems is an advantage.
