As the Senior Technical Community Manager at Gigamon, you’ll manage the engagement, and growth of our Online Technical Community. This is a hybrid role that offers flexibility while collaborating with cross-functional teams from R&D, support, product, and marketing. Reporting to a senior leader, this individual contributor role plays a vital part in fostering a vibrant, user-driven community centered around our brand. Your efforts will be key to shaping the culture of our technical audience and driving participation that helps expand Gigamon’s influence in the industry.
What You’ll Do:
Manage the community strategy to drive engagement and growth
Lead cross-functional efforts with sales, marketing, R&D, IT, and support teams to enhance participation and value
Retain current community members and attract new ones through various initiatives
Moderate user-generated content and ensure high-quality engagement with the technical audience
Develop and report on KPIs to track community success and impact
Collaborate with internal SMEs to enrich community content with Gigamon knowledge
Gather and implement user feedback to direct the community platform’s roadmap
Provide insights from community interactions to inform product and marketing strategies
Occasionally travel to collaborate with internal teams or attend community events
What You’ve Done:
10+ years of enterprise hardware/software experience with 1-3 years in community management or moderation
Hands-on experience with platforms like Salesforce, Jive, Lithium, Telligent, or Drupal
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus
Proven track record in managing large, cross-functional programs and growing community metrics
Experience in the cybersecurity industry is preferred
